Building Damage Dictionary

The Building Damage Dictionary is an iOS application that offers a comprehensive collection of different types of damage that can affect building materials. It was the result of over six months of work, which currently includes more than 200 damage types and 1500 individual entries. Each entry provides detailed information, such as visual descriptions, test methods, and repair strategies.

The application’s design was entirely custom-made. It features unique integration of a card stack for each material type, balanced against the rounded information bar. A black spacer naturally curves into the display frame, creating a sense of integration between the hardware and software. The app’s custom icons and gradient colour pallet throughout create a futuristic ambiance, complementing its unique design to redefine the expectations of what a dictionary should look like.
